Welcome to the website of the Chez Marche Cafe. At the Chez we specialize in preparing traditional foods of the world, from scratch, using in-season produce from local farmers and gardeners and from our own gardens.

We've also got a pretty mean burger.












Our menu changes every day, to reflect what's fresh, but you can always count on getting a great soup, salad or sandwich for lunch, and delicious dinners. Check back here for our daily specials or give us a call (715.256.2672) to find out what's on the menu today.

We make every effort to keep the website current, but occasionally there's the last minute need to change the meal to maintain the quality that we're committed to. Please call to verify if you've got your heart set on a certain meal.

This week's lunch specials


Buffalo Hot Dog with Cherry Mustard and Pepperoncini Grass fed, all natural buffalo sausage, on toasted bun with cherry mustard, fried onions and pickled peppers. With chips. $8

Duck Sausage Sandwich with Fresh Garlic and Celery Relish
Organically grown Pekin duck hot dog, with fresh garlicky celery relish. On toasted bun, with chips. (starting July 10th) $8

Berkshire Pork Hot Dog Free range and heritage breed Berkshire pork tube steak, with roasted poblano peppers, melted cheese sauce, and chopped tomato. With tortilla chips. $8

Straight up dog (your choice – Pork, Buffalo or Duck) with just mustard and catsup, raw onions, relish, and/or hot peppers $5.75

Tempeh Reuben Whole grain tempeh slices, sauteed and layered on homemade rye, topped with housemade sauerkraut, swiss cheese and onions. Served with chips. (Starting July 15th) $11

Calabacitas with Pumpkin seed Pesto Toasted flour tortilla, stuffed with sauteed tomatoes, peppers, herbs and summer squash, served with sour cream, pumpkin seed pesto and tortilla chips $8

Burger Locally grown grassfed beef chuck, in a third-pound burger, on toasted bun. With catsup and mustard. $6.5

Noodles with butter (or olive oil), and parmesan $6
BLT $8, Grilled Cheese $6, Fried Egg Sandwich $5

Substitute cottage cheese or applesauce for chips for 50 cents.
Add fried onions, pepperoncini or garlic mayonnaise for 50 cents
Add cheddar cheese, tomatoes, sauerkraut or salami to anything for $1
Add a fried egg for $1.5 - Add a poached egg, mushrooms, bacon, swiss cheese or feta for $2



Wednesday and Thursday Dinner:
  • Pork Roast Southern Dinner Slow-roasted organic, heritage breed, Berkshire pork butt, with sweet potatoes, corn bread and hot pepper greens. $22.5
  • Gratin Dauphinois with Venison Sausage Yukon Gold Potatoes, baked with cream and garlic and cheese. Served with green salad and organic Venison and Cherry Sausage. $22
  • Gratin Dauphinois without Venison Sausage: $15
  • Linguini with Wild Mushroom Sauce Wild chanterelle mushrooms with cream, shallots and herbs, on housemade linguini. $21
  • Calabacitas with Pumpkin Seed Pesto Housemade flour tortillas stuffed with sauteed and roasted peppers, tomatoes, onions, and summer squash. Served with pumpkin seed pesto and sour cream.
  • Popper burger! Third pound burger, with pepperoncini, pepperjack cheese and fresh greens. $9.5

Dinner All dinners come with the cook’s choice of appetizer, freshly baked bread with butter and olive oil, and a little nibble after the main course.

  • Roasted Quail stuffed with Mushrooms and Garlic Sausage Two semiboneless free-range quails, stuffed with wild chanterelle mushrooms and slivers of garlicky sausage. Served atop a bed of braised greens with Yukon Gold potatoes. $34
  • Steak Frites Richly flavorful Flat Iron steak from free-ranged cattle, with fried onions, shallots and garlic and served with homemade french fries and choice of vegetable du jour. $26.5
